Yes. Under Ontario law, non-resident property owners, tenants, and their spouses are legally eligible to vote in Severn.

• Vote in Both Places: You can cast a ballot in your home municipality and in Severn where your cottage is located.

• Vote Anywhere: Cast your ballot conveniently online from home, the cottage, or while travelling.

Every eligible voter in Severn can vote for Deputy Mayor using online or in-person options.

• At-Large Ballot: The Deputy Mayor position appears on every ballot across all five wards.

• Voting Dates: Online voting opens October 15 through Election Day on October 26, 2026. In-person voting centers are also available.

• Voter Letter: Eligible electors will receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail with instructions and a secure voting PIN.
