I met Wanda last year when we had a problematic short-term rental on our street. She was an amazing advocate for Severn’s community and worked tirelessly to bring licensing to the area.

She cares about everyone in Severn, not just her own ward.

I support her run for Deputy Mayor wholeheartedly.

I strongly believe that Wanda would be a great choice for Deputy Mayor. She has already done so much for our community and truly cares about the people who live here.

During the ice storm, when many people were without water due to a system failure at the Westshore Water Treatment Plant, Wanda stepped up and donated over 800 bottles of water to help community members. Her support made a real difference during a difficult time, and many people benefited from her generosity.

Wanda is always thinking about ways to improve our community. She listens to people, asks for suggestions, and genuinely cares about what residents have to say.

I believe her dedication, kindness, and commitment to our community would make her an excellent choice for Deputy Mayor. I am happy to support Wanda and wish her the very best!

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Wanda Minnings over the past four years as our Councillor for Ward 4.

As someone who has been involved in our community, what I appreciate most about Wanda is how genuinely caring, approachable, and willing to help she is. I’ve had the opportunity to reach out to her on many different occasions, and she has always taken the time to listen, offer guidance, and do what she can to help. She has never made me feel like my concerns were just another item on a list.

Getting to know Wanda personally has given me an even greater appreciation for the commitment and heart she brings to her role. She truly cares about the people she represents and is willing to put in the work.

I’m grateful to have had Wanda in our corner these past four years, and I’m proud to support her as she takes the next step and runs for Deputy Mayor.

Wanda has been working hard for Westshore and the entire Township as Ward 4 Councillor for the past four years. Protecting our children, personally donating water for the community during the ice storm, supporting our Ratepayers associations, and our families.

She is a member of our community with a passion for us – her neighbours – and our welfare.

Wanda is familiar with municipal law and provincial law (as a Manager for 20+ in the provincial government), and is ready to continue representing ALL of us in Severn.

Wanda is our neighbor and I’m proud to say, my friend. Wanda knows what Severn Township needs simply because she’s involved.

The X on my ballet will be beside Wanda’s name because I believe she is the right person for continued growth in our area.

There are two sides of Wanda that have impacted me personally. From a community perspective, Wanda came forward to help our struggling ratepayers association reorganize and thrive. She’s proven to be a true, dependable friend. To say it simply, “She steps up.” She has been an excellent councillor for Ward 4.

On a working level, there’s the Wanda who listens, takes notes, and genuinely hears what you’re saying. Meeting with Wanda means open discussion, no drama, and thinking creatively to find solutions we can agree on.

I believe Wanda will be an exceptional Deputy Mayor for Severn.
