"I've never stepped away from a challenge, and I value consensus-driven decision making." — Wanda

Wanda is a hard-working, community-minded leader who builds consensus and knows that the right decisions come when people are brought together.
As an expert mediator, she knows how to keep a conversation productive when matters escalate and things turn difficult.
She has 22+ years of employment experience working for municipal, provincial and federal governments – almost all in management! – plus four years as a municipally elected official, which give her knowledge and confidence she has to speak on behalf of all Severn residents as Deputy Mayor.
Her calm, soft-spoken approach welcomes anyone forward for discussion but she stands firm when needed.
Above everything else is Wanda’s genuine care about people. Her sincere, empathetic attitude has given her the framework to build consensus on committees, in community organizations, and now hopefully, as Deputy Mayor.
These are the skills and attitudes that make Wanda the right choice to help lead Severn Township forward.
